Our wild and untamed surroundings provide a bounty of ingredients right at our door step. Our Executive Chef Dave Hassell and the Spa at Tyax are all passionate about incorporating wild, local sustainably harvested products to our guests. From an intriguing bar drink infused with cedar, pine or elderberry flowers, to the chef’s incredible range of foraged rotating daily menus inspired by nature’s delicacies.
With a long growing season and fertile solid the surrounding areas provide a plethora of fresh ingredients for the taking. Our culinary team is regularly found tending to our kitchen garden and selecting the best quality produce from our local farms.
The exceptional quality of the produce in the surrounding areas is gaining increasing attention through the province and across Canada. The town of Lillooet is en route to our location and if you are passing though on a Friday morning during the summer months it is worth stopping in at their Farmers Market. You never know what you might find, from vegetables and baked goods to art and crafts.
