Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa now offers flights connecting our Resort & Spa with Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler. Leave civilization behind and fly over glacier fields, volcanic formations, alpine lakes, and carpeted meadows. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for grizzly bears, moose and mountain goats.
Charter Flights are available to/from most destinations within BC. We transport groups from Vancouver and Whistler directly to the resort, and then fly directly to backcountry lakes including Spruce, Warner and Lorna – all within South Chilcotin and Big Creek Parks. Choose from the following charter options:
- Vancouver to Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa
- Whistler to Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa
- Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa to Spruce, Warner or Lorna Lake
- Whistler to Warner or Spruce Lake
- Additional custom options available
Our specially modified “Beaver” floatplane comes equipped with six window seats and comfortable headsets. All tours start at Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa and run daily on demand from June through October. In the Winter months we operate a ski plane based out of the Pemberton Airport on wheels / Skis. This allows us to land on a hard surface runway or snow and ice. A variety of desitinations are available for your winter adventure.
