Is there a pool? 
No, we do not have a pool but we have a great spa with a eucalyptus steam bath, wood sauna, infrared sauna and 22 person outdoor Jacuzzi . The property sits on the shore of Tyaughton Lake and although quite cold, it is great for a refreshing dip in the hot days of summer and is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, rowing, fishing, and stand-up paddle-boarding, all available complementary with your stay at Tyax.
 

What are the road conditions like?

Is there a buffet in the restaurant? 
We have a fabulous dining room and lounge that offer a great a la carte menu for our guests. None of our meals are served buffet style with the exception of private functions.
 

What are the restaurant hours? 
Breakfast is served from 7:30am – to10:30am with a kitchen closure from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Lunch is served from 12:00pm on and the kitchen closes at 9:30pm.
 

Are there vegetarian options available? 
There are a few vegetarian options available on the regular menu. Any dietary restrictions can be relayed to the front desk at the time of booking and/or discussed with your server at the time of seating.

Is there a kids menu? 

Yes, there is a kids menu available.
 

Are dinner reservations required? Dinner reservations are not required, but always highly recommended. During busy times it may be crucial to get a table.
